Privacy Policy

TideRISE Marketing LLC, doing business as TideRISE Digital ("TideRISE," "we," "us," "our"), is a boutique digital marketing agency based in Hampstead, North Carolina. This policy explains what information we collect when you use tiderisedigital.com, how we use it, and your rights. If any of it is unclear, reach out at hello@tiderisedigital.com and we will give you a straight answer.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form on our site, we collect the fields you fill out: name, email, phone number, company, service of interest, budget range, and any message you include. If you book a call through our Cal.com link, Cal.com collects the scheduling details (name, email, time slot, any answers to their intake questions).

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, we (or our analytics partners) may collect:

• Pages viewed and actions taken on the site
• Device and browser information (type, OS, screen size)
• Approximate location (derived from IP address, city-level)
• Referrer (the site or ad you came from)
• UTM parameters on inbound links (source, medium, campaign)
• Date and time of visits

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage for two purposes:

• Analytics (optional, opt-in): Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 cookies help us understand how visitors use the site. These only load if you accept the cookie banner. If you reject or ignore it, these do not run.
• Essential (always on): A small number of cookies are required for the site to function, such as remembering your cookie-banner choice, security cookies from Cloudflare, and session cookies if you sign into the internal portal.

Specific cookies we set when you accept analytics:

• _ga, _ga_* - Google Analytics, 13 months, used to distinguish unique visitors
• _gid - Google Analytics, 24 hours, used to distinguish unique visitors
• GTM auxiliary cookies - vary by configuration, mostly session-scoped

Essential cookies we always set:

• tide-consent-v1 (localStorage) - remembers your cookie-banner choice so we do not nag you again
• __cf_bm, cf_clearance - Cloudflare, for bot-protection and security
• tiderise_portal - only set if you sign into the internal portal

2. How we use the information

We use the information for a short list of things:

• To reply to your inquiry when you submit the contact form
• To schedule and run consultations
• To send the occasional follow-up about services you expressed interest in (we will not spam you)
• To understand how the site performs and improve it
• To prevent fraud and abuse
• To meet legal obligations when required

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without your consent.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small set of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf. These are the only third parties who see your information:

• Resend - sends transactional emails (contact-form notifications, confirmations). Processes your name, email, and message contents.
• Railway - hosts the website and the Postgres database where inquiries are stored.
• Cloudflare - provides CDN, DNS, and security services in front of the site.
• Google (Tag Manager + Analytics 4) - provides site analytics if you accept analytics cookies.
• Cal.com - handles consultation scheduling if you book through our calendar link.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

4. How long we keep it

Contact-form submissions and CRM records are kept for as long as the business relationship (or potential relationship) is active, plus a reasonable archive period afterward. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep it.

Analytics data follows Google's retention rules - by default we keep GA4 event data for 14 months.

5. Your rights

No matter where you live, you can email hello@tiderisedigital.com to:

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information
• Ask us to stop contacting you
• Ask us to export your information in a portable format

If you are in the EU, UK, California, or another jurisdiction with a specific privacy law (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), those laws give you the rights above plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We will honor those requests.

6. Children

Our services are for business customers, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

7. International visitors

We are based in the United States. If you visit from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US. By using the site, you consent to that transfer.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures (HTTPS everywhere, encrypted database connections, hardened hosting). No internet transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

9. Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle data, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Minor wording updates will not always get a date change.
